Dogs Welcome

We welcome well behaved dogs and responsible dog owners, and we hope that you and your dog(s) will enjoy your stay at Tigh Alasdair. We are usually happy to accommodate one or two dogs. Please let us know the breed, age and name of your dog(s).
There is a ‘Dog Pack’ in the hall cupboard with spare ‘dog-towels’ spare bowls and poo bags. Feel free to make use of them, but please leave the pack and any dirty towels in the Mud room so that we can replenish it for our next canine guests
Do write some of your favourite walks in the “Doggie Walk Book”
We have a few house rules which we would be grateful if you would observe please.
- Do let us know if there have been any “accidents” or damage to furnishings so that we can put things right before the next guests arrive.
- Do lift dog poo from the garden & put in the big black bin (wrapped or bagged)
- Do be responsible when walking your dog so as not to disturb stock or wildlife.
- Don’t allow dirty or wet dogs in the house – clean them up first please!
- Don’t allow dogs up on the furniture.
- Don’t leave you dog unattended in the cottage or garden.
- Tigh Alasdair is set on a working croft, separated from surrounding fields by a wooden fence. The garden fencing is a deterrent only.
