What a lovely place to come to get away from it all and celebrate special birthdays without anyone around!
Helen & Mark

We enjoyed a week of improving weather. Tigh Alasdair proved to be a comfortable home. Highlights include: the friendly folk we met and talked with, the ascent of Eaval – the views of hills, sea and lochs, eating out at Langass Lodge and Claddach Kirkibost, Smoked fish from Hebridean Smokehouse, Listening to ‘The Vatersay Boys’ and hearing Gaelic spoken, walking across Traigh Ear Greinetobht, observing an otter from the front window, watching showers and rainbows come and go! Thanks for a lovely cottage.
Goddards

We have visited the Western Isles on numerous occasions. This bungalow must have one of the best anywhere. We saw otters; one lolloping down the road and many deer from the window. We also saw golden eagles, buzzards, hen harriers, a merlin, a peregrine and kestrels on our various walks. We gathered mussels from the local bays – delicious with garlic butter. Our only complaint was the weather was too good – sunny and calm- for the fishing to be very productive. Thanks for providing such a cosy cottage.
Terry & Vicky Easter

After a 700 mile drive we were delighted to find everything that we needed for a good holiday – excellent accommodation, friendly people and such peace in this timeless landscape. Not to mention eagles, otters and great fishing.
Michael & Jennifer Yates

Despite gales and rain nothing could dampen the beauty of this wilderness; rutting stags, cheeky seals and drumming grouse are the best sounds around. Very comfortable home from home in the cottage. Thank you for a little touch of space. Hope to be here in summertime.
